What is Asphalt?
Asphalt, or Bitimum as its sometimes called, is one of the final products resulting from the oil refining process. Aggregate (small rocks) is added and is bound together by the viscous asphalt.
How Long Does Asphalt Last?
Property maintained Asphalt can last 40 or more years. Proper maintenance means seal coating every 2-3 years.
Asphalt verses Concrete?
Asphalt is generally aboutn 30% cheaper than concrete. Concrete is better for higher traffic areas with heavey equipment. Asphalt, having more 'give,' performs better in areas with tree roots as smaller bumps will rise verses entire conrete slabs
What is Stamped Asphalt?
